The Amateur Radio Club is a group who enjoy radio communications as a hobby or as support for public services such as municipal emergency operations centers. This includes, but is not limited to voice and digital computer communications via radio. Amateur Radio is an excellent training resource for skills that are applied in the work place, home and for public service. Membership is not limited to licensed hams and training classes are available to assist you in obtaining an Amateur Radio license with a unique call sign. Meetings are informal and often held via radio nets.

Clubs/leagues are opened to all NASA employees and their spouses, retirees, LaRC contractors and in some instances, dependents.
