I- Membership Fee
The membership fee for this year has beeb established by the Board of Directors to be $2.00. To become a member an application should be filled and a Langley Activities Association's Waiver of Liability form should be signed.
II- Committees - The Committees and their responsibilities are:
Games Committee:
Presided by the President is responsible for managing the Club's regular games and encouraging participation.
Tournaments Committee:
Presided by the VP of Membership is responsible for tournaments direction and purchase of trophies.
Social Committee:
Presided by VP of Public Relations is responsible for arranging social activities for the Club.
Membership Committee:
Presided by the VP of Membership is responsible for encouraging growth of membership and determining the eligibility of applicants for membership. The Treasurer and Secretary are members of this committee.
Nominating Committee:
Presided by the President is responsible for obtaining qualified candidates for the Board of Directors, preparing and distributing ballot form to membership, and notifying membership of balloting results.
External Events Committee:
Presided by the VP of Public Relations is responsible for notifying club members of local and national events of interest. This committee should represent the club at appropriate Peninsula Soccer meetings. It should secure information of nationally sponsored tournaments and promote interest and play of these events within the club when possible.
Publicity Committee:
Presided by the VP of Public Relations is responsible for preparing and distributing timely newsletters describing club activities, tournament results, and other significant events of importance to membership. Sends schedule of activities and news about the club to the NASA Langley Researcher News.
Grounds Committee:
Presided by the President, the responsibilities of this committee include the normal care and upkeep of the soccer filelds, management of local parties, and advising the Board of Directors of grounds upkeep which should be reported to the Langley Activities Association. All club members are assistants on this committee and can be called upon by the Chairman.
Games Rules:
Games played between two teams of eleven players per team will follow the FIFA Soccer rules. Games played with less than 10 players per team will follow the Indoor USA
Soccer Rules.
