Wow, what a great game. Worth the drive up there.
Personal observation and comments:
First half, Costa Rica up 2-0. Second goal was a nice shot. We saw it as
we walked in the stadium. Second half US team made a big come back. First
goal was nice, but looked muscled in, kind of like what Rich does in our
pickup games. ;)
With an injured player and no more subs, US played one man down but kept
the pressure up. Game continued in the extra minutes due to injuries.
At the very last minute, a corner shot, a header, and the crowed goes nuts.
Goooooaaaaaal!
