LaRC Exchange Activities - Skywatchers Club

 
 

The Skywatchers Club is for people interested in astronomy as a hobby. We have regularly-scheduled observing sessions.

Club Location:

Skywatchers Observatory (B.1231A, next to the day care center) and other locations on the Peninsula.

Club Meetings:

The club usually meets once each month to discuss club business. Non-members are welcome to attend.

What To Bring:

The club has several telescopes. Most of the club members own and use one or more telescopes and/or binoculars, which they bring to observing sessions.

Cost:

Membership dues are $20.00 per year. Also offered for an additional charge is an optional subscription to Sky and Telescope magazine, at the (discounted) club rate.
