LaRC Exchange Activities - Amateur Satellite Club

The Amateur Satellite Observers (of Southeast Virginia) is involved with assisting individuals and families in the observation of earth orbiting satellites with the unaided eye. This includes boost phase observations of the Space Shuttle, on orbit observations of satellites such as the International Space Station, and reentry observations of the Shuttle. These events are exciting to view but infrequent. Communicating when and where to observe these events is one of the primary goals of this largely information and media oriented group.
