The NASA Langley Child Development Center (LCDC) has been nationally accredited program since 2000, it provides affordable high quality, developmental child care services for the families of NASA Langley Research Center civil servants and permanently badged contractors. The center serves children ages: Parents may choose full time, part time, or drop in care. Each classroom follows a daily schedule, which includes a balance of activities such as: indoor/outdoor, quiet/active, individual/small & large group and child/staff initiated activities. Each classroom is staffed with a full-time teacher and at least one full-time teaching assistant. The curriculum provides developmentally appropriate activities and materials, parent conferences and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.
